Kathy Greco – Executive Director and President

A well-seasoned attorney in the Greater Los Angeles area, Kathy Greco founded 4kids1st in 2012. She transitioned from civil law practice to representing students with special needs. Kathy advocates for children’s and adult’s rights in the education system, targeting those who may not be able to afford legal assistance. “Westlake Magazine” recently featured Kathy and acknowledged her work as a well-known child advocate in her community, professionally, and amongst her peers.

Tera Marquez – Director of Advocacy and Operations

As a professional with a Big Four consulting firm, adjunct professor at California State University Channel Islands, wife, and mother of three sons and a daughter, Tera Marquez has her hands full. Despite her busy life, she and her husband have been involved in the special needs community since 2005. Tera’s involvement in the special needs community began when her oldest son was diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum. Later, her second-oldest son was similarly diagnosed. As advocates for full inclusion in education and in life, Tera and her husband have been active in local and regional nonprofits, AYSO VIP Soccer, and in formal and informal parent support groups.

Tabatha Jones Jolivet – Board Member

Ann educator and higher education administrator with 16 years of progressive experience. While serving as Associate Dean if Student Affairs, she is also pursuing a PhD in Education at Claremont Graduate University. Tabatha is excited to serve as a board member of 4kids1st, a nonprofit organization that fosters collaborative community partnerships that take children’s lives and learning seriously and advocate for their futures.

Ilene Stern – Board Member

In addition to building a business that has been very successful for over 25 years, Ilene has used her success to help many local organizations. She partners with organizations and hosts fund raising events at her Boutique and is always willing to donate something fabulous to other events. Ilene believes in people helping and supporting each other in collaborative ways and she models that philosophy in her everyday actions. Ilene’s desire and ability to connect to people, her brilliant mind, huge heart and business savvy are all given to support the efforts of 4kids1st.
